1. Seven Hills of Edinburgh

Edinburgh, Midlothian, 15 June

The Seven Hills of Edinburgh offers a unique experience with no set route, featuring seven hills and a series of checkpoints scattered throughout the scenic southern area of Edinburgh. This relaxed approach creates an inclusive atmosphere, attracting participants of all abilities. Competitors will traverse over 20 kilometers and ascend 670 meters in the main event, The Race, for those with a competitive edge. Alternatively, The Challenge allows for a more leisurely experience, making it accessible for walkers at certain points. For more information, visit seven-hills.org.uk.

2. Isle of Skye Half Marathon

Portree, Inverness-shire, 14 June

The Isle of Skye Half Marathon captures the enchanting allure of this stunning island, making the journey worthwhile. Known for its exceptional organisation and enthusiastic support, this event features both a half marathon and a 10K. However, the highlight is undoubtedly the half marathon, which leads runners deep into the breathtaking Skye countryside along closed roads, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the surroundings.
