Find Your Stride is an Edinburgh based podiatry, sports injury and running performance clinic aimed at keeping people active. Head podiatrist Joshua Francois has over 17 years of experience working with athletes and has been a practicing podiatrist for 11 years. Our objective is healthy progression for all achieved through sport and exercise. We provide holistic and mindful treatments, guidance and motivation to help you resolve pain, achieve your goals and optimise running or walking performance.

Podiatrists (also known as chiropodists) are healthcare professionals who specialise in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the feet and lower limbs. Podiatrists can draw upon a number of treatments and techniques to help prevent and sometimes correct deformity, keep people active, relieve pain and treat infections. You may want to see a podiatrist for advice and treatment if you have painful feet, a sports injury, thickened or discoloured toenails, cracks or cuts in your skin, growths such as warts and verrucas, or any other foot-related problem.


Excellent service all round.. I’ve had all types of foot ailments over the years and Josh eradicated these issues consummately and offered excellent after care service to prevent any future problems. I can now wear most shoes in full confidence without any pain. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

Running doesn't have to be a solitary pursuit. Although there's definitely something beautiful about running solo, enjoying some time alone and being free for a moment, joining a community of athletes adds another dimension to the sport. Even the most experienced runner will admit there are days when starting a run feels near impossible. Imagine, during those most difficult moments you have a team of people willing you on, waiting for you to arrive, ready with a smile as you join the group.


I've noticed that our world is increasingly about the individual, competition is everywhere both professionally and socially.  So why not take a time out? Slow things down, forget about the pursuit of greatness and the numbers on your watch for an hour (or more). Come join the run club so that we can talk, smile, laugh, run and grow together.
